Denver BBYO's Special Pre-Screening of Bully
Thanks to all those who came to this once in a lifetime film. It touched every person who was there in a positive light. There were successful discussions before and after the movie that allowed the full power of the movie to be taken in.
Denver has been chosen as one of the few cities that gets a pre-screening of the monumental documentary, BULLY. This film is part of a nation wide campaign to stop bullying of young kids. This film shows the hurt and pain that bullying can create for a family and the trauma it can have on a child, mentally. Committed to respect and inclusion of all Jewish teenagers, BBYO is proud to sponsor screenings of “BULLY,” a feature-length documentary that depicts “a year in the life” of North America’s bullying crisis. All Denver-area Jewish youth are invited to see the film with BBYO before its worldwide release. At the conclusion of the film, participants are invited to engage in an anti-bullying training session and unique discussion on how they can make their communities a safe place.
