A Message from our Nsiah

I have set three goals that I will strive to accomplish this term. First, to gain at least 8 MITs.We can gain these MITs by having a great rush program that all the prospective members really enjoy.  Next, I want to work with my siganit to make more programs that include some of the variety of the six folds to offer our chapter members new experiences, I believe that it is really important that we include this so that we have educational but fun programming.  I strive to have at least one program a month other than meetings so that our bbg sisters can get together.  For example, chapter dinners on off weeks or bowling nights, and absolutely any idea that any off my fellow dead bear divas have ideas for.  Finally, I want to have a better attendance at meetings and programming. I intend to improve our attendance by 20% before rush and 40% after rush. With the size of the chapter we have, we already  have a huge ratio of girls attending functions with the chapter, yet I want to involve the not so active members also.  I want to work with the mazkirah to improve our communications.  I would like to do so by actually calling our member and new MITs because then they have to give us their word.  As of right now we use text and facebook posts.  This is a great way of using our resources as reminders, but these things are very easy to over look because you don’t have to reply, by calling each other we are really involving people in coming to join our programs.  We have one active senior and that is Ashley McAnarney. Having only one senior really doesn't bother anyone in the chapter because she contribute to our chapter in such a significant way! She is such a strong role model to all the girls and we are all so honored to have her in our chapter.  She will be so missed, but i know she is truly always a dead bear diva. She is one of the most active seniors in RMR and we are so proud to have her.  The strong aspects of our chapter are that we are very close and we can always rely on each other when there is business at hand. We also all get along and work well with each other.  And our board and chapter is already succeeding even so early in the term!
