This term has been an exciting and refreshing period of intense and rapid growth for Hank Greenspun AZA Chapter 705. As has been noticed by new members, management, regional and chapter board alike, the “new” 705 is one that is completely capable of competing with any other chapter in the region.
The new 705 refers to this term’s board and every board from now on for the chapter. 705 has carried, for a long time, the reputation of the chapter has been one of slacking off, goofing around, and for some reason, hazing. The new 705 is serious, focused, and effective. Already we have added upwards of 12 members to the chapter. We have had more events in the first two months of term than in all of last semester. The communication within the chapter has extended beyond the Facebook group. Fundraising is high. Judaism is prevalent within activities, and our leadership is effective. The new 705 represents a chapter geared towards development and competitive excellence: we will rise again.
